De Santos is the fourth location of a proliferating chainlet and the joint venture, in part, of a Cuban-Colombian drummer, his Mexican-Italian brother-in-law, and two Italian veterans of Savanna's in Southampton. You know you are in store for a rocking dinner!

Occupying a Greenwich Village brownstone, De Santos is equipped with a patio, an international wine list, and a celebrity crowd that has included the likes of Janis Joplin and Bob Dylan over the years. Owner Alex Gonzalez, of the Latin Grammy–winning band Mana, certainly knows how to attract a cool crowd and the food is just as impressive.
The restaurant's starters include Savory Truffled Mac & Cheese, Tuna Sashimi and Bufalo Carpaccio. Entrees feature signature dishes as Tuna Steak, Rack of Lamb, NY Strip Steak, Homemade Tagliatelle Pasta, Mussels Mont Clause, and the restaurant's famous Santos Burger.
