It's no secret that we're absolutely crazy about Pinot noir here at Le Du's Wines. We consider the hallmark of great Pinot Noir to be wines that truly, and honestly express their place of origin, their "terroir." Naturally Burgundy comes to mind, but that's not the only place in the world where honest Pinot Noir is made. On the west coast of the US, there a few special spots for this gorgeous grape. Certain vineyards on the Sonoma coast of California, and in the Willamette Valley of Oregon yield Pinot Noir that is unmistakably from those places.
So, this Saturday from 4-7, come taste some Pinot Noir, West Coast style. Oh, and we'll also start off with a little Chardonnay—another grape that does well on the west coast. This time, it is the debut of the new vintage of our own, Le Dû's Wines - Au Bon Climat Chardonnay.
