Built in 1922 to house the Greenwich Savings Bank, Gotham Hall is a Neoclassical icon of New York's architectural heyday. It was designed by Philip Sawyer (formerly of the legendary McKim, Mead, & White) who looked to ancient Rome, including the Coliseum, for this timelessly elegant monument.
