Located within the Sanctuary Hotel, Tender is an opulent French-Japanese brasserie "bringing contemporary glam to the heart of Times Square" (Travel+Leisure).
Grab your $89 pulse (a $178 value) for a 3 course dinner for two, that includes 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 1 dessert, and 1 bottle of Prosecco or 4 craft cocktails.
The menu courtesy of Executive Chef Gustavo Galvao (Quality Meats & Yardbird) and Sushi Chef Yauman Kirana (Catch, Estiatorio Milos) treads the tantalizing line between French and Japanese, steak and sushi. Think: the perfectly crispy Tuna Poke (edamame, creamy wasabi, mango) to start, followed by the Lamb Chops (jus, garlic herb mash) or the buttery Mahi Mahi with a rich enoko-miso broth.
As the night progresses, be sure to keep your eyes open for the famous faces that gather here (Joe Jonas and Bella Thorne have been spotted). A jet-setting night from start to finish...
Tender Restaurant is a culinary journey of the senses, brilliantly juxtaposing the land and the ocean, as well as French and Japanese dining traditions.
For an appetizer, try the Salmon Carpaccio served with sweet & sour onion and fragrant yuzu sauce. If you're in sushi mood, the Super Spider Roll (soft shell crab, avocado, spicy aioli, seared tuna, carpaccio sauce) is stellar. Or lean continental with the kingly Truffle Tagliatelle: supple housemade ribbons of pasta in creamy parmigiano shiitake sauce & black truffle shavings.
Such decadent dishes are best paired with a celebratory bottle of Prosecco. Or pick buzz-worthy libations by Isaac Grillo, who has created the beverage programs at the Wynn Las Vegas and W Hotel Miami. The Shadow (Grey Goose, lychee, lemon, white grape) adds an element of intrigue befitting Tender's stunning brass bar.
Finally, a Valrhona Chocolate Brownie Sundae (mint chocolate gelato) makes a fabulous finale to this adventurous evening...
