TOMS shoes is asking you to take a nice stroll with bare feet for a good cause. 'One Day Without Shoes' is meant to raise awareness for the millions of children around the world that grow up without shoes and suffer diseases and infections because of it.

The worldwide event will host two major walks in the US on New York City's West Side Highway. Expect to see TOMS founder and chief giver Blake Mycoskie, Charlize Theron, 90210's Gillian Zinser and the NY Islanders among the barefoot walkers. Last year over 250,000 people participated in over 1600 events. Here's hoping they topple last years numbers.
