Today Mr. Popper's Penguins starts production in New York City, and it's star is Jim Carrey. Even if you didn't read this book as a child, the shoot should still be entertaining. They'll be filming at Steiner Studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and while there's no guarantee you'll get into the studio, check it out if you're in the area and see if you can spot someone on a lunch break!
