Though the summer is officially over (gah!), there are still chances to enjoy the water before we turn our minds to pumpkin everything. Hudson River Park Trust and the New York Hall of Science are hosting Submerge, a science festival celebrating NYC’s coastal waters, at Pier 26. There will be free hands-on marine science lessons, live music, presentations from noted scientists, free kayaking, fishing, and more.
