The great thing about New York City is the summer tours. Whether we are looking for the best pizza, chocolate or ice cream...or even Sex & The City hotspots, we enjoy spending time outside and learning where the best of everything in this city is.
Details: We will meet in Little Italy and visit Lombardi's the first pizzeria in New York, still making one of the best in the original coal-fired brick oven. Next is Lasso a winner in the Best of the Boroughs Pizza Competition. Then over to Ciao Bella to cleanse our palate with amazing home-made gelato or sorbeta. Entering the East Village and over to Artichoke Bastille one of the best pizzerias that sells by the slice. Some must-see landmarks included are St. Mark's Place, a gritty bohemian street, also known as East 8th Street. The old home of legendary rock palace CBGB's, and McSorley's the oldest Irish pub in the city. Lunch included in tour cost.
